Brisbane born, and well-travelled, Lenna-Maree Moxey is an accomplished jazz vocalist who fluidly crosses over to any contemporary style – authentically and brilliantly. She has studied privately with some of Australia's finest voice teachers, including Ingrid James and Irene Bartlett, and International voice teachers such as Mark de Lisser (London) and Neil Semer (New York).  Lenna-Maree is also supported by professional qualifications from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Brisbane) and memberships with ANATS, APRA and QMusic and years of experience in the music and performing arts industry and in collaborative productions.  She has also studied at Neil Semer's highly sought-after vocal summer school in Germany.

Lenna has performed in both main-house jazz clubs in Brisbane and Melbourne, National festivals, has independently produced two sold-out cabaret shows, collaborated with The Circus Corridor, as well as corporate and regular gigs throughout Queensland and residencies in luxury Whitsunday island resorts.

As a Voice, Instrumental and music theory Tutor with over 16 years of experience; Lenna provides her students with a valuable grounding in the music industry through her own experiences. She has established and currently manages her own music business, has taught at Central Queensland University, various music schools, conducted workshops and masterclasses, presented at school holiday programs such as Muso Academy and conferences such as the International Congress of Voice Teachers, as well as attended many symposiums, international summer schools and continued vocal tuition with various international and national experts. Her specialist areas include vocal technique, instrumental tuition, audition preparation and music theory. She is passionate about both vocal technique and conquering the issues hindering students’ success in performance.  Based on the principles that Lenna-Maree has found work and achieve results through her firsthand experience is what she builds her teaching practice on. If it doesn’t work, she doesn’t teach it.

Lenna-Maree is a passionate and dedicated teacher who desires to remain up-to-date and relevant for students involved in a rapidly changing industry by regularly attending voice symposiums. Lenna-Maree is also an inspirational mentor in the music industry for young artists by being a current performer and producer.
